Blouberg and indeed Cape Town, is a treasure trove of activities, with at least a few things for everyone to enjoy during their stay here.
Starting with the beaches, if you want to keep it local, look no further than Blouberg (which translates to Blue Mountain Beach, as well as Big Bay and Melkbosstrand beaches)
One of the incredible things about Cape Town is its diversity, and our beaches are not any different. See below for some of Cape Town’s favourites!
No matter what you’re after, there’s a ‘Clifton Beach’ for you!
Clifton 1st Beach
Clifton 2nd Beach
Clifton 3rd Beach
Clifton 4th Beach
Nestled in the heart of Camp’s Bay, Camp’s Bay beach does not disappoint. Not only is it beautiful, with white sandy beaches and epic views, it also falls onto one of the best culinary streets in Cape Town. Whatever your stomach is hunkering for, Camp’s Bay beach strip will have it. There is also a selection of activities (want to hire a cadillac?) and street art on offer, to keep you entertained.
Now, Cape Town is not renowned for its warm water – but OH the seafood! However, once you start going round Table Mountain to Muizenberg and Fish Hoek side, the water gets alot warmer!
It’s also great for surfing, with a selection of surf shops close by that hire wetsuits and boards. Being on the other side of Table Mountain, Muizenberg is also very close to the world famous Boulders Beach, where visitors can bathe and swim with the penguins – an experience not to miss!
Other sites not to miss:
Not the biggest beach in Cape Town, Hout Bay beach certainly makes up for it with its beauty. It is also neatly nestled next to Hout Bay harbour
